What you’ll learn

Adobe Illustrator Icon Design for Web Apps and Software

  • Graphic designers work for 5 hours every day on average.
  • At the same time, be able to create both basic and complicated icon designs.

  • Adobe Illustrator is installed on my laptop.

When you take this lesson, you’ll learn how to make icons out of basic shapes and lines. In addition, we’ll discuss “how the symbols connect with us in the actual world.”

This session will focus on creating icons for websites, mobile applications, and software.

After we’ve finished creating icons, we’ll research and learn how to apply them in real-world programs.

A class project will assist you in keeping track of how much you’ve learnt in class as a student.

Your talents will improve the more you practice and work on tasks.

You should review the class project and put it to practice. It’s critical that students follow the procedures and methods they learned in class, and that they submit their work in the appropriate location.

You can create icons for online applications and software with Adobe Illustrator.

You have three options for this class project: A, B, or C. Only one of these should be chosen.

Make a collection of icons for your project.

A. Banking & Finance Web App

B. Download the Construction Equipment App on your phone.

C. A web-based desktop application for selling items.

In an icon collection, there should be at least 10 or 12 icons.

The ICON GUIDE and all of the icons we created in class have been posted to the project resources.

If you ever get stuck, please let me know. I’ve come to assist you.

Best wishes for your next class!
